Christ in Dachau by Fr. John Lenz
The Nazi concentration camp Dachau held more than 2400 Catholic priests. More than one third of which were killed. One of the survivors, Fr. John Lenz was asked by his superiors to write about his experiences so that thy would not be forgotten. His book tells the real-life stories and includes over eighty photos.
The courageous priests held in these death camps exemplified courage as they ministered to their fellow prisoners, giving hope, bringing the Blessed Sacrament to them and hearing their confessions. Fr. Lenz endured 6 1/2 years as a prisoner and lived to tell of his hardships and sufferings and of those of his fellow priests.
