Description
Following the death of St. Charbel in the late afternoon on Christmas Eve 1898, Christians and non-Christians soon made his tomb a place of pilgrimage and of cures. Many people began to report seeing lights around his tomb. When Church authorities opened the tomb, they found Saint Charbel’s body incorrupt and exuding sweat and blood. Saint Charbel’s body continued to bleed and perspire for sixty-five years after his death. Thousands of miracles have been attributed to St. Charbel and they are increasing at an astonishing rate, all over the world. He intercedes for anyone in search of Light, of a healing that restores hope, taste and joy in life.
The Chaplet of St. Charbel is comprised of five sets of beads, 3 red sets, 1 white set and 1 blue set. Five black beads divide the sets.
The red beads are for the vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience, the virtues by which religious share in the Passion of Christ.
The white beads represent love for the Holy Eucharist,
The blue beads represents love and devotion to Our Blessed Mother.
A Holy Card and Instructions for prayers of the chaplet are included.
