The Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (also known as the Brown Scapular) was given by Our Lady to St. Simon Stock, promising that the faithful who are invested with it and who wear it daily will “not suffer eternal fire.”
Hand made by the Slave Sisters of the Immaculate Heart, each scapular is made for long wear, and is even washable! This traditional Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is made from 100% wool with brown cords that are 36 inches in length (18 inches front to back). It features the image of Mary presenting the Scapular to St. Simon Stock, as well as her promise for wearers of this sacramental.
Made in the USA of 100% wool.
If you have ever been enrolled in the past, even as a child, no additional blessing is necessary to wear the scapular.
